ROCK STAR JOINS THE ARMY

In the first major transfer of the 2008/09 season Goal Keeper Dan Fell also known as Lompar, has dropped down a division to sign for Division 2 team SAS. Manager Nathan James was delighted with the signing, which strangely enough puts his own position as the armies current number one in doubt. You can see Dan unveiled for his new club in a friendly versus Hillfields in Patchway on Saturday 17th May, KO 10 am.

HOW WILL 2008/09 SHAPE UP

ARCHIVE

On Monday 19th May 2008 the BCFA teams will be informed as to the structure of the 2008/09 season. There are rumours of 6 teams joining and only 1 folding which means having an all time high of 26 teams. This paves the way to a number of possibilities, such as 3 leagues or 2 larger divisions with some current division 2 teams being promoted??? Either way it looks to be an exciting meeting which will also see the the Solomon Trophy awarded.
